The Creative Mikser meeting focused on the book industry took place in Big Book Cafe in Warsaw - an exceptional meeting place that combines a coffee house, bookstore, reading room and literary events scene.
It was a chance for the audience to meet with influencers of the local literary scene. A number of case studies from Poland and the UK were presented, followed by a discussion on topics such as networks of cooperation, communities around bookstores and libraries, as well as creation of reading trends. One of the invited guests was Marie Moser, owner of The Edinburgh Bookstore, a shop offering a book-related events and open to the local community.
