As winter approaches, the British Council invites all students to take part in a unique winter competition.
We know how extremely important it is to encourage young people to develop their artistic talent and promote creativity among students. That's why we encourage all our students: Show us your artistic talent and, in any way you want, illustrate what you like most about winter or what this season reminds you of. We grant full creative freedom to the participants and will accept works made using any artistic technique, you can send a video, draw a picture, create a collage, sculpture or poem. Surprise us with your creativity!
Participants must be current Fundacja British Council students. The competition is open to underage students (below the age of 18) exclusively. The deadline for submitting works is 29th February 2024. Works may be submitted from 1 December onwards to the offices of the Fundacja British Council in Warsaw, Krakow or Wroclaw, it is also possible to send a photo of the work by e-mail to: konkurs@britishcouncil.org with the subject "Winter Competition". Participation in the competition is possible only after submitting the completed "Competition Application" form, which constitutes an annex to the Competition Regulations. Both the Regulations and the Application form are available at the bottom of the page, we encourage you to read the content of both documents.
The works will be assessed by a special commission, which will announce the results of the competition by 8th March 2024. The winners will receive attractive prizes, including a 15% discount on any holiday course organised by one of the branches of the Fundacja British Council, as well as gift cards and insulated bottles.
We invite everyone to take part in the competition, which is an excellent opportunity for young artists to present their skills and win unique prizes.

The competition winner is Adam Kusiak.
