Date
Wednesday 04 June 2025 to Thursday 05 June 2025
Location
Museum of Warsaw, Old Town
The project is focused on audience development.
It addresses thematic areas: debate, diversity & inclusion, and diaspora. It is a multidisciplinary and cross-disciplinary project based on the cooperation of Polish and British museums and other cultural institutions. There is a major contribution of British museums both in The UK Museum Collections Management Standard (in relation to collections) and implementing community arts (in relation to audience), that inspired cultural workers and museum employees in Poland for decades. The project focuses on this heritage, with new technologies involved. The project is rooted in collections of artefacts from all the partnering museums, and how they can become vessels of new meanings and help to address contemporary audiences. Additionally, the UK’s participation in the Night of Photography in Warsaw in 2025 includees projections from the photographic collections of several British institutions.
