Welsh-Guyanese poet, writer, academic and critic Charlotte Williams presents her poetry in Poland for the first time.
Presentation is a part of Big Book Festival - international celebration of literature and various forms of art, taking place over a weekend 20-22 June 2025 in Warsaw. This year's program focuses on traces and identity.
FOLLOW THE POET is an evening with Charlotte Williams chaired by a Polish poet.
Poetry reading by both authors is interlaced with conversations touching on ethnicity, roots, identity, landscapes as powerful themes recurring in Williams' poems.
The conversations with the public are set against a soundtrack presenting various inspirations from Welsh music, both traditional and contemporary.
