The XXXII Ars Cameralis Festival is about to begin and that means a November filled with concerts, literary meetings, workshops, performances and exhibitions. An important part of the Festival's program will be screenings of BAFTA 2023 Shorts organized in cooperation with the British Council and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. Once again we invite you to spend time with the best creators of the British film school. The screenings will take place on Mondays, November 13th and 20th at the House of Education of the Silesian Library in Katowice. The film programme includes six extraordinary feature and animated shorts which tell stories about: the fate of a promising female chef, extraordinary though unusual friendship, a shaman during the turmoil of war, a sailor in the Indian Ocean, Martha's search for inspiration, or two brothers who reconcile after their mother's death. Each story differently reveals how one unexpected meeting can affect a whole life and completely change it.
