Bródno Sculpture Park, launched in June 2009, is a long-term project involving the participation of artists and residents of Bródno district, city council officers and an art institution – the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.

The 10th edition of the project is a special invitation to create some kind of a dispersed form of the exhibition. The main theme of the exhibition is Bródno itself which will also become the location of an art biennale. The artists contributing to the project are Goshka Macuga and Paweł Althamer. As artists and curators of the 10th edition of the Sculpture Park they proposed to focus on the specific character and identity of the district and they elevated Bródno to the rank of an exhibition.

For nine days (from June 23 to July 1) Bródno will be transformed into a museum offering guided tours as well as encouraging individual exploration thanks to a map of local situations, objects, people and places which become themselves art, exhibited outside of galleries. The project will be accompanied by a series of activities, art workshops, debates, film screenings, gardening workshops, meetings and other events that envisage the participation of local residents. One of the goals is to reduce the distance between the locals and art.
