One of the world’s major contemporary sculptors, a worthy successor of Henry Moore and New British Sculpture of the 1980s, Tony Cragg will show 60 sculptures and 100 drawings, watercolours and prints at CoCA. Curated by Krzysztof Stanisławski, the exhibition offers a comprehensive review of Cragg’s highly original and impactful work.
An impressive space of 2,000 sq. m in CoCA’s modern building which is ideally suited for displaying objects as unique as Tony Cragg’s large-format sculptures will host an exceptional presentation of his monumental and highly refined latest pieces which the artist executed in bronze, glass, stone and wood. The exhibition will also be the first ever presentation of the artist’s autobiographical bronze piece called WAVE.
Exhibition under the Honorary Patronage of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Prof. dr hab. Piotr Gliński and held under the auspices of the British Council and the British Embassy.
The exhibition is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
