You listen to the music and surf the Internet, but do you understand the real meaning of the lyrics? Who writes LOL, what do Youtubers say, where does SWAG come from? Remember, that it ‘aint what you say, it’s the way you say it. Get to know British slang inside out during British Council workshop. Let’s forget about grammar and perfect spelling. You will learn about differences between slang and ‘normal’ English and how to use it freely.

Participants will receive: 

  • Materials to practice slang vocabulary during workshop
  • Vocabulary list to reinforce the new words and phrases they learn in the workshops

Session schedule:

11.00-11.50 teenagers aged 12-14

12.00-12.50 teenagers aged 12-14

Participation is free of charge.

Parents are asked to accompany their children during the event. Parents can learn more about ways of supporting their children in language education, as well as about British Council courses in Poznan. 

We have a limited number of places available for each session. To book your child’s place, complete the British Council registration form and send it to e-mail address poznan@britishcouncil.pl or collect, fulfill and leave it to one of the Information Points in the Stary Browar.
