Get ready for a weekend dedicated to the brilliance of short films! The Short Film Celebration, brought to you by the ‘Ad Arte’ Cultural Education Foundation, is a unique distribution program focusing on the creativity and impact of short cinema. Taking place from December 19 to 22, 2024, this event aims to showcase high-quality shorts, proving they deserve equal recognition alongside feature-length productions.
This year’s carefully curated selection features a range of short film programs: BAFTA: British Academy Film Awards, ESFAA: European Short Film Audience Award, and Polish Young Talents – a comprehensive set of works by young Polish filmmakers honored at the most prominent Polish festivals, enhanced by audience voting. Additionally, the program includes a special selection for the youngest viewers, Together in the World.
The BAFTA Short Film Program 2024 features a selection of nominated short films, including this year’s BAFTA winner in the narrative category. These films showcase stories that reflect the diversity and richness of British society, combined with top-tier artistic and technical talent. The program also offers an opportunity to witness performances by some of the finest British actors.

One of the Association's missions is to promote film events and films of high artistic value by distributing them through its network of member cinemas. Thanks to the Association's support, small cinemas in outlying areas can benefit from affordable financial offers, enabling them to access quality programming and continue operations without compromising on ambitious screenings.
British Council is a partner of the event.
