In addition to Warsaw retrospective of Mike Leigh’s movies, you will have a chance to participate in his lecture on cinema. If you are interested  in how movies are produced or you are a student of a film school or any other film course, meeting Mike Leigh, one of the most outstanding British director, winner of Golden Palm, nominated four times for Oscar, will be a real treat for you. 

The host of this Mastercalss - editor of a FilmPro magazine – Małgorzata Stasiak will ask Mike Leigh about main stages of a movie production: preproduction, production and postproduction. Exploring Mike Leigh’s innovative methodology (peculiarities of his work with actors, long-term cooperation with devoted film crew, consistent accentuation of music in a movie) you will discover all the secrets of his style.

This Masterclass is organized by The National Film Archive, British Council and a magazine in audiovisual industry FilmPRO.
