The Polish Radio and Copernicus Science Centre Science Picnic
The Polish Radio and Copernicus Science Centre Science Picnic is Europe’s largest outdoor event aimed at the promotion of science. Every year, it attracts crowds of visitors to Warszawa. Scientific institutions, universities, research institutes, museums, cultural institutions, and foundations related to science and science clubs present their achievements and reveal the behind-the-scenes aspects of their everyday work. They comprehensibly present science to audiences of various ages, with the aid of experiments, demonstrations and interactive exhibits.
This year's edition
A 20th, jubilee edition of the Science Picnic is dedicated to associations of science with our health. The main objective of the event is to show how science and modern technology pave the way for progress in medicine and health care. And vice versa, how to fight for longer, healthier and happier lives of people stimulates the development of other sciences.
The Picnic will take place on 7 May 2016 at PGE Narodowy stadium and British Council is one of the exhibitors at tent number C19.
