proMODERN, a contemporary vocal sexstet, which has won Fryderyk Awards has prepared a special project to celebrate the 400. anniversary of Shakespeare death: proMODERN shakespired. proMODERN shakespired is a concert project which includes new compositions by established Polish composers (among the others: Krzesimir Dębski, Krzysztof Herdzin, Paweł Łukaszewski, Stanisław Moryto, Maciej Zieliński, Tomasz Opałka), written exclusively for the proMODERN vocal group to the text of Shakespeare's sonnets. The programme includes a special composition by famous British singer and composer, a member of the legendary The King’s Singers – Philip Lawson.
proMODERN shakespired concert will take place on 16 November 2016 at 19.00 at Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic in Szczecin.
