However, the happy moments pass unnoticed when the hero's mind is taken over by suspicion and his heart is filled with jealousy. Otello's constant questioning of the beautiful Desdemona’s fidelity pushes him into the abyss of doubt, which ultimately leads to his doom.
Otello in the directorial interpretation of David Pountney and under the musical direction of Jacek Kaspszyk is one of the greatest events of the 2023/2024 season.
