Calling all artists, theatre and dance producers, arts funders, and cultural policymakers. Join us on 15 June, 15:00-17:00 CEST to attend the online launch of the British Council’s new commissioned report ‘Time to Act: Two Years On’.
British Council has commissioned On the Move to conduct a follow-up report to ‘Time to Act’ looking further into the knowledge gaps in the cultural sector that contribute towards inequalities for disabled artists and audiences.
This event hosted in partnership with NIMIT will examine what the report reveals about Poland’s performing arts sector and what it means for future change across the country. It will also examine the influence of international collaborations and initiatives, and discuss how they can (and have) benefited disabled artists in Poland.
The event will begin with a presentation from researchers at On the Move to reveal key findings from the report. Disabled artists and staff at arts institutions will respond to the new research, discussing their perspectives on what needs to happen next and how international collaborations may contribute to reducing barriers for Poland’s disabled artists.
The event will be in Polish with Polish sign language translation.
