Due to a great screening success, British Council and Multikino organise an encore screening of the play “A Streetcar Named Desire” in eight cities on 20th November.
The Young Vic's highly anticipated production of the timeless masterpiece, with Gillian Anderson, Ben Foster and Vanessa Kirby.
The fastest-selling production in the Young Vic’s history, Tennessee Williams’ timeless masterpiece A Streetcar Named Desire is broadcast live from their London home by National Theatre Live. With Gillian Anderson (The X-Files, The Fall) as Blanche DuBois, Ben Foster (Lone Survivor, Kill Your Darlings) as Stanley and Vanessa Kirby (BBC’s Great Expectations, Three Sisters at the Young Vic) as Stella.
As Blanche’s fragile world crumbles, she turns to her sister Stella for solace – but her downward spiral brings her face to face with the brutal, unforgiving Stanley Kowalski. Visionary director Benedict Andrews returns to the Young Vic following his Critics’ Circle Award-winning Three Sisters.
The screenings take place at 8 Multikino venues in 8 cities: Gdańsk, Katowice, Kraków, Łódź (Silver Screen), Rzeszów, Szczecin, Warszawa – Ursynów, Wrocław - Arkady Wrocławskie.
Tickets available at Multikino cinemas and on Multikino website.
