As he prepares to embark on an overseas tour, star actor Garry Essendine’s colourful life is in danger of spiralling out of control. Plunged into a growing identity crisis, wracked by multiple complicated relationships with people who compete for his attention, Garry loses himself in a chaotic whirlwind of love, sex, panic and the search for meaning.
The production, directed by Matthew Warchus, offers a humorous and surprisingly contemporary look at fame, desire, and loneliness.
