British Council invites creative children from Tricity, together with their parents, for the English workshop “Songs and Music”. Teachers will take participants on a melodious trip to the UK. Children will discuss their thoughts on music and ways of describing it in English, as well as learn how music influences the grammar and pronunciation. Phrases like ‘gonna’, ‘wanna’, ‘shoulda’ will no longer sound puzzling, and newly acquired knowledge will be consolidated with entertaining karaoke.
Children will receive:
- Materials to complete creative tasks in the workshop
- British Council workshop certificates
- Worksheets with homework to practice new vocabulary
Session schedule:
11.00-11.50 children aged 8-10
12.00-12.50 children aged 8-10
13.00-13.50 children aged 8-10
Participation is free of charge.
Parents are asked to accompany their children during the event. Parents can learn more about ways of supporting their children in language education, as well as about British Council courses in Tricity.
