British Council and Museum of Moderns Art in Warsaw invites for a meeting with Gregor Muir, director of Institute of Contemporary Arts, author of a book on British art in the 90s "Lucky Kunst. The Rise and Fall of Young British Art”.
The talk will focus on unique personas, who 2 decades ago had made an enormous impact in the world of art as well as in pop culture. We will find out what Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin and Sarah Lucas are being bothered by at the moment (her work Romans is at permanent exhibition at MoMA) Gregor Muir will share his experience of art critic beginning at the art college, through Tate Modern and huge private gallery Hauser and Wirth until being a director at ICA.
The interview will be held in English and led by Natalia Sielewicz, curator of the Museum of Modern Art and Karol Sienkiewicz, art critic.
