Inspired by the work of Medieval Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch, Give Me a Reason To Live explores issues of religion, in particular religious art, and the judgement of bodies, souls and quality of life.Taking the form of a series of tests, of body and of faith, and set to a mesmerizing sound score (prepared by Zoë Irvine), the work is a study of empathy; a live memorial to the disabled victims of the Nazi euthanasia program and the current disabled victims of the present UK governments so-called ‘welfare reform’.

The solo performance by Claire Cunningham will be shown at the 19th International Meeting of Dance Theates in Lublin organised by the Lublin Cultural Centre.
