Free workshop for NGO's and local activists in Pomerania
Active Citizens Academy is a project led by Instytut Kultury Miejskiej in Gdańsk and the British Council. It aims to support organisations’ management and social change in a diverse world.
Inclusive Facilitation (CoResolve) provides a safe and structured approach in a situation of dissent. Most valuable in this method is the ability to pass through (and not over) what divides to creative solutions. Particularly important in the inclusive facilitation (CoResolve) is that it allows you to hear all the voices in the group, and people with a higher rank or position in the group do not dominate the discussion and do not have a major impact on the decisions made as a result.
The aim of the workshop is to:
- Acquire the knowledge about inclusive facilitation tools
- Increase the understanding of group dynamics in resistance, disagreement or conflict situation
- Develop the ability to make team decisions using a difference of opinion
