The Ateneum Theatre in Warsaw invites you to the premiere of Dawn King’s play “Foxfinder”, directed by Wojciech Urbański. An intriguing thriller in a climate straight out of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks and an atmosphere borrowed from George Orwell’s creativity and Andrie Tarkovsky’s Stalker. Dawn King’s play is a suspenseful tale of the mechanisms of enslavement and clash of the unit with the system (or the system with the unit).

The premiere will take place on Stage 61, which has always been dedicated to a close, almost pyhysical encounter with the Actor. The space is entirely created to immerse the viewer into the uneasy world of the “Foxfinder”. On stage, fantastic actors of the young generation: Emilia Komarnicka-Klynstra, Olga Sarzyńska, Tomasz Schuchardt i Adrian Zaremba.

Dawn King was hailed the most promising debutant playwright in Great Britain for "Foxfinder" and the text itself was shortlisted for Best New Play at the Off West End Awards 2012. King also works for film and television. Her screenwork has been nominated for a BAFTA.
