American Honey is an audacious love story directed by Andrea Arnold, one of the most interesting contemporary film directors, an American Academy Award™ nominee and winner of Cannes Jury Prize and BAFTA awards (Red Road, Fish Tank).

Out of 15 young people cast as crew members, 11 had never acted before – Arnold scouted for talent while travelling across America.
