Pauline Boty represented an art movement that emerged in the mid-1950s in Britain: Pop art. As the only British female artist that created her painting and collages in this movement,  her works very often demonstrate female sexuality or criticism of the  "man's world" .

Ms2 Art Museum in Łódź organizes an exhibition of her works and will provide a series of meetings with guest speakers who will touch upon e.g. shifting interpretation of her works from fetishism of mass culture icons towards more feministic.

British Council is a partner of talks and lectures accompanying the exhibition, including: Corinne Miller Director of Wolverhampton Art. Gallery at the opening of the exhibition (14.03.2014), lectures by Dr Sue Tate, the author of the book „Pauline Boty, Pop Artist and Woman” and a curator of the exhibition (15.03.2014), David Crowley, Royal College of Art, London (29.04.2014)  and Jessica Morgan, Tate (24.04.2014)
