Is portfolio dead? Creatives from all over Europe will meet this June in Warsaw for the Element Talks conference and the European Design Festival
This year’s spring will see the 6th edition of biggest design conference in Poland which touches upon the practical aspects of working in the creative sector. As many as two thousand creatives from all around Europe are expected to come to Warsaw in June. The coming edition of the conference is part of European Design Festival that will transform Warsaw into a graphic design capital for a couple of days.
The watchword of this year’s edition is PORTFOLIO IS DEAD. The organisers want to ponder upon the concept of portfolio, whether it still functions as a designer’s showcase, or maybe there are other skills and competences which bear more significance? If yes, what are they? What kind of developments should designers expect to be key for the sector in years to come? What new technologies are there for at the disposal of designers?
The conference will include two days of lectures and workshops with experts from all over the world as well as a number of other attractions awaiting participants of the Element Talks event. Mr Bingo, an illustrator, rapper and performer will be a keynote speaker from the UK.
