The Institute for Cultural Research at the Faculty of Philology at the University of Gdańsk, Velvet Spoon and the British Council invite you to an open lecture by a UK producer Hugh Welchman from Breakthru Films. 

Hugh Welchman will talk about the Polish-British cooperation and the development of the „Loving Vincent” project. The lecture will be preceded by a screening of short films from London Film School.

Hugh Welchman received an Oscar for „Peter and the Wolf”. He was nominated for the Academy Award for „Loving Vincent”, directed together with Dorota Kobiela. He is founder of the BreakThru Films studio, which produces films using animation painting technique.

The lecture is a part of the Creativity Talks series and will take place on 13 December at 12:00 in the Cultural Research Institute at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Gdańsk.
