Creative Mikser is a series of networking meetings addressed to Warsaw’s creative community, organised by the British Council and the City of Warsaw, this time in cooperation with Pogłos club and Warsaw Club Commission (Warszawska Komisja Klubowa). The meetings include presentations, discussions and a networking platform to meet interesting people and broker new business contacts. Organised in venues with a ‘creative vibe’, they are an important and innovative initiative aimed at integrating the community of creative entrepreneurs in Warsaw.

This time experts from Poland and the UK will discuss the topic of cooperation between city authorities and urban music scene. How do we arrive at synergies in urban and music industry development? What are best practices in planning common goals and arriving at great results? At the meeting findings of a study examining the Warsaw music scene will be presented and audience will be encouraged to discuss and brainstorm effective cooperation models with experts from London and Warsaw.

The meeting will be hosted by Ewa Ayton (Head Arts & Culture, British Council) and Tomasz Thun-Janowski (Director of the Marketing Department of the City of Warsaw).

 

The languages of the meeting are Polish and English. Translation into English will be provided.
