Workshop consists of 2 modules:
Modul 1: Key for Schools and Preliminary (90 minutes)
In the first part of this practical workshop presenter will briefly introduce all three papers of both exams and present the assessment criteria for them.
However, the aims of the second part are to highlight ways of approaching speaking skills in the classroom, to give practical teaching ideas, as well as to present an outline of the assessment procedures. Furthermore, it provides practice in assessing the speaking performance at A2 and B1 levels.
Modul 2: First for Schools (90 minutes)
In the course of this practical workshop participants are going to focus on productive skills with special emphasis placed on exam assessment, an area where teachers often feel uncertain. Trainees will have a look at assessment of Writing and Speaking in great depth, using a variety of exercises.
