The Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre invites Polish emerging directors for professional trainig with Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod – Artistic Directors of the Cheek by Jowl Theatre Company from Great Britain.

With regards to preparation, directors need to have read Declan’s book ‘The Actor & the Target’.
We provide accommodation for participants at The Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre (single/double rooms, including breakfasts). Workshops will be translated into Polish.
Workshops are organized in cooperation with Cheek by Jowl Theatre Company, The British Council, Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
