Free workshop for NGO's and local activists in Pomerania

Active Citizens Academy is a project led by Instytut Kultury Miejskiej in Gdansk and the British Council. It aims to support organisations’ management and social change in a diverse world.

Workshops are organised for people working in local NGO’s. Our next workshop will focus on “Designing services using the design thinking method”. Designing services allow to create solutions that respond to the real needs of recipients. It is a process in which before we start to wonder what we can do, we answer questions for what and for whom. The process of designing services is applicable/useful when planning new tasks, projects for local communities, as well as in modifying the ones that are already being carried out. The applied workshop techniques may be used i.a. to increase the effectiveness of organized projects. Deadline for submissions: 22 April 2018.

Workshops will take place on 12–13 May 2018 (Saturday–Sunday); from 10.00 to 17.00 (Saturday), 10.00 to 15.00 (Sunday), at Instytut Kultury Miejskiej in Gdańsk.
