The 4th Miłosz Festival – meeting with Ruth Padel
Visitors to the 4th Miłosz Festival will have a chance to meet Ruth Padel (born in 1946), the British poet, journalist, and non-fiction author. She teaches Creative Writing and Poetry at King’s College London. Her most recognized book called The Mara Crossing combines poetry and prose and takes on the subject of the migration of animals and humans. She is great-great-great-granddaughter of Charles Darwin and is known for efforts to protect wildlife and animal rights. She has also published non-fiction books, among others, focused on Greek tragedy and rock music.
