WATCH DOCS is one of the world's largest film festivals devoted to human rights. WATCH DOCS is also the oldest festival in Warsaw concentrating on documentaries – it was established in 2001.
The festival is organised by the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, Warsaw’s Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle oraz the Social Institute of Film.
This year's edition will start on 4 December and last until 10 December. The following British films will be shown at the festival:
- Syrian Love Story (Grand Jury Prize Sheffield Doc/Fest, opening film of the WATCH DOCS 2015), dir. Sean McAllister
- The Fear of 13 (premiered at the BFI London Film Festival 2015, WATCH DOCS competition), dir. David Sington
- How to change the world (premiered at the Sundance festival 2015, WATCH DOCS competition), dir. Jerry Rothwell
- Jungle Sisters (Sheffield Doc / Fest, IDFA 2015), dir. Chloe Ruthven
