We have a virtual classroom solution, so that Primary and Secondary students can continue learning English while regular classes are temporarily suspended.
Virtual lessons are designed to cover the same skills and provide the same progress as regular classes. Each class consists of the following activities:
- pre-lesson activities
- a live class, and
- post-lesson activities.
We are drawing on the expertise of our wide network of teaching centres across the world to offer a virtual classroom experience that has already proven to be effective. The advantages of this platform are:
- small class size which allows for more teacher-student interation and attention
- the same possibility of progress as in our regular face-to-face classes
- a rich mixture of activities: live lessons with the teachers as well as self-study activities
- a safe platform which follows our strict British Council Child protection guidelines.
We also try to ensure, as far as possible, that virtual lessons are with the same teacher, at the same time as the normal class and with the same group of students.
Please have a look at our Student and parent guide to Virtual Classrooms for more information on how to join a virtual class and what the house rules are.
We are committed to ensuring that all children can study in a safe and supportive environment and our platform incorporates a number of features designed to keep children safe while they are online.
We hope that our students will enjoy the opportunity to continue meeting their classmates and their English teacher from the convenience and safety of their home.
