The British Council Poland is currently recruiting suitably qualified individuals to join our freelance team of local invigilators. The recruitment is for the period April – July 2025 with the opportunity of extension.

Location Warsaw
Salary 31 PLN – 36 PLN per hour
Duration Freelance, Contract for Services
Working hours Examination events take place throughout the week and on the weekends. Working hours vary, depending on the size of the event, with a typical shift lasting between 6 – 8 hours.
Closing date Friday 28 February 2025

Role overview

Requirements:          

  • right to live and work in Poland
  • B2 level English according to Common European Framework for Languages (this will be verified by means of an in-house British Council language test)
  • minimum 18 years old
  • reliability 
  • provide completed application form and CV
  • possess good interpersonal and communication skills 
  • excellent customer service skills
  • good team player 
  • complete introductory training prior to commencing work 

Key duties include the following:

  •  providing excellent customer service to our clients 
  •  ensuring security and integrity of examination sessions 
  •  working with confidential and sensitive data  
  •  active monitoring of test takers during the test
  •  following instructions of Test Day Supervisors
  •  attending trainings as required
