We are looking for candidates who would lead on development and promotion of quality digital content as well as on planning and implementation of digital marketing campaigns for Fundacja British Council through a mix of digital channels, including the British Council country website, social media, newsletters, campaigns and targeted partner websites, working closely with British Council Global and Regional Digital Team and sectors teams in Poland.

Role overview

The post holder will be responsible for: 

  • ensuring that content in both English and Polish on various digital channels (e.g. website, social media and internal tools) adheres to quality standards and corporate policies
  • advising on implementation of innovative and best practices to digital marketing
  • managing e-marketing campaigns and e-mail marketing
  • monitoring, reviewing, and reporting website visitor access patterns and trends and adjusting strategy and plan as appropriate to meet the targets
  • writing content for British Council social media platforms and websites

We expect:

  • professional experience in digital marketing and social media work 
  • functional knowledge or professional experience with HTML/CSS and Content Management Systems such as Drupal, Wordpress etc.
  • demonstrable understanding and experience of existing and emerging social media tools (running campaigns, social media listening etc.) Basic knowledge of SEO techniques and Adobe Photoshop would be an asset
  • very good written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish (at least Level C1 in both)
  • strong writing skills
